We increase educational achievement of Chicago students by removing barriers that disrupt a quality education.
The Struggles Facing Chicago's Youth
Behind every statistic is a student who deserves safety, support, and a pathway to success. Together Chicago partners with schools, churches, and community leaders to connect youth with mentors and resources that reduce violence, increase school engagement, and open doors to meaningful education and employment.
4 out of 10 CPS students are chronically absent.
Among kids in K–12 age range who were shot, about 9 out of 10 were not at school when it happened.
57% of Black Chicagoans aged 20–24 are unemployed.
