ABOUT CAMPAIGN-NO MORE VIOLENCE

As a subsidiary of the Brilliance and Excellence Movement, the “No More Violence” Campaign is focused on saving the lives of our youth in the beautiful city of Chicago. Our mission is to promote non-violence and inspire youth engagement in alternative activities. Through targeted 1-mile walks, we will share the message of No More Violence to help initiate change throughout our city.

From Together Chicago’s Director of Education, Damien Howard:

Seandell Holliday was one of ours. Our partner organization, Champs Male Mentoring Program, mentored Seandell weekly. When he was shot, by the bean downtown, it spurred many of us to collective activity. Now, 30+ Organizations are combining to save Chicago youth. We plan to hire 50+ youth ambassadors as we hit the city calling out, “No More Violence!”

The No More Violence Movement is mobilizing and will hire Chicago youth to engage in anti-violence acts throughout the summer.

We had an amazing weekend captured by ABC and CBS news outlets (see the links below).
