What are the different campaign options: basic, peer to peer, and team?
Basic campaign
A Basic campaign uses one shared fundraising page that anyone can share with their network. All donations go toward the campaign’s overall goal and are not tracked under an individual fundraiser.
Peer-to-Peer campaign
A Peer-to-Peer campaign gives you your own personalized fundraising page, where you can tell your story, set a personal goal, and track the donations you raise. For example, if you are running a marathon for Together Chicago, you can use your page to invite people to sponsor your run.
Team campaign
A Team campaign lets you fundraise alongside a group, such as your workplace, church, family, or running club. Donations can count toward your personal fundraising total, your team’s shared goal, and the overall campaign goal.
Do I need fundraising experience?
No. It's really simple to set up your page, then the most effective thing you can do is share a genuine reason that Together Chicago matters to you.
How long does it take to start a peer to peer fundraiser?
Creating a fundraiser only takes a few minutes. You can personalize your page, set a goal, and begin sharing it right away!
Where do donations go?
Donations made through your personal fundraising page go directly to Together Chicago. You will not need to collect money or transfer funds after your fundraiser ends.
