On Saturday July 27, 2024, our Near West Side Violence Reduction Team joined forces with the Henry Horner Reunion Picnic for a fantastic community event that drew over 300 attendees! Thanks to our amazing partners and volunteers, including Laprentess Flowers and Communities Partnering for Peace, we provided a day full of food, fun, and sunshine. Alderman Walter Burnett expressed his gratitude and confidence in our efforts, highlighting the positive impact we’re making in the community.
