Historically, the Memorial Day Weekend often witnessed spikes of violence in Chicago. To promote peace, we rallied churches, organizations, and individuals to host united prayer and positive community presence all across the city of Chicago. Local pastors and leaders worked together with each other and many coordinated with their police district leaders to choose strategic locations to host prayer and action outdoors.
This year, over 60 locations hosted prayer and action gatherings in a beautiful display of unity and partnership.
