Spend in the Black

Spend in the Black is organized to uplift and invest in Black-owned businesses while bringing the community together.

Enjoy a vibrant outdoor marketplace featuring a wide variety of Black-owned vendors, delicious food trucks, and local entrepreneurs offering everything from fashion and beauty to wellness and lifestyle products.

This year’s event will also feature appearances from influential voices in culture, food, media, and entertainment, including community leader Englewood Barbie, food platforms like Black People Eats and Black Chicago Eats, and a wide range of creators, tastemakers, and media personalities who continue to amplify Black businesses across the city and beyond.

Attendees may also catch appearances from notable guests and entertainers such as Twista, Larenz Tate, Jason Weaver, and comedian Mojo Brooks, along with a host of local influencers, media outlets, and community leaders who are committed to supporting Black excellence.
