The Justice Journey Alliance, Leadership Foundation of Chicago (JJALFOC), invites you to the 2nd annual Imagine Justice Juneteenth Commemorative Walk on Friday, June 19, 2026.
This 2.5-mile walk begins at 31st Street Beach, proceeds north to 18th Street, and returns via the Lakefront Trail.
The distance honors the 2.5-year delay in freedom reaching the last enslaved people in Texas following the Emancipation Proclamation.
A portion of each registration supports the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
