CPD Superintendent Search Listening Session for Faith Leaders

The Community Commission for Public Safety and Accountability is currently leading the search for Chicago’s next Superintendent of Police, and they’re about halfway through the process.

Over the past month, they’ve been holding citywide and targeted listening sessions to hear directly from Chicago’s diverse communities about their experiences with public safety and policing, the issues they believe the next Superintendent should understand, and the qualities they want to see in CPD’s next leader.

On Monday, September 28 at 6:30 p.m., they’ll be hosting a listening session specifically for Chicago’s faith community at Progressive Baptist Church, 3658 S. Wentworth Ave.

We want to make sure faith leaders from across the city have an opportunity to be part of this conversation.

For anyone who isn’t able to attend, there is an online feedback form where residents and community partners can share their thoughts and priorities for the next Superintendent.
