Together Chicago is proud to celebrate the graduation of 25 participants from the SC2 Workforce Development program. Over the past 10 weeks, participants who are closely connected to and impacted by community-level violence committed themselves to personal growth, skill-building, and exploring positive ways to contribute to their neighborhood.
We celebrated two graduations recently: 15 participants at the Aspire Center and 10 participants at the Institute for Nonviolence Chicago. This program focused on building attitudinal and life skills such as accountability, communication, and teamwork, laying a strong foundation for long-term success.
Graduates are now preparing to enter the CARA program, an 8-week job readiness course that will focus on resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation.
We congratulate each graduate for their dedication, and we extend our sincere thanks to all our SC2 partners who make this work possible.
