City-wide Prayer
Chicagoland United in Prayer, a collaborative, city-wide prayer movement, hosted its annual Winter Prayer gathering on the Near West side of Chicago at the historic First Baptist Congregational Church. Over 1,500 people representing over 100 churches united to pray together, led by dozens of local pastors and leaders. The event was also broadcasted by Total Living Network and live streamed online so many more could join in remotely. This annual gathering takes place on the last Sunday in January, and is part of the ongoing seasonal rhythms of faith in action championed by CUIP and faith-community mobilization work of Together Chicago.
