On Saturday, October 25, the Major Adams Youth Center came alive with laughter, costumes, and community spirit as Light in the Night (LIN) hosted a Halloween party for local families. Around thirty children joined in for an evening filled with games, candy, food, and festive costumes.

The event was part of LIN’s ongoing mission to create positive community spaces that build trust and strengthen relationships among neighbors. By hosting events like this, LIN continues to show that local parks, schools, and spaces that belong to the community can be places of joy and peace.

As the Halloween festivities wrapped up, the excitement continues with plans for the next LIN event—the Thanksgiving celebration, set for Saturday, November 22 at the Major Adams Youth Center again. This gathering will offer another opportunity for neighbors to come together, share a meal, and celebrate their community.
