Together Chicago is proud to announce that our Co-Founder, David Dillon, has been honored with the prestigious Gutenberg Award, presented by the Chicago Bible Society.

The Gutenberg Award is presented annually to individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to the cause of the Bible, whether in church, the business community, or the civic arena. Named in honor of Johannes Gutenberg, the inventor of the mechanical printing press, the award recognizes leaders whose lives and work reflect a deep commitment to advancing the influence of Scripture in society.

Founded in 1842, the Chicago Bible Society is one of the nation’s oldest Bible societies. Its mission is to provide Bibles and biblical resources to communities, churches, and organizations across the Chicago area and beyond, fostering engagement with God’s Word and supporting ministries that bring hope through Scripture.

David Dillon’s visionary leadership and faithful service exemplify the spirit of collective impact that drives Together Chicago. Through his commitment to collaboration across churches, businesses, civic institutions, and community organizations, David has helped foster citywide partnerships that advance peace, justice, and spiritual renewal. We celebrate this well-deserved recognition and the continued impact of his leadership in advancing God’s work through collaboration.
